Emmanuel has been grafting away at his own productions for the best part of a decade and the last couple of years have started paying off in the form of releases on Monique Musique, Enemy Records and earlier this year on the world renowned Deeply Rooted with his ‘Deeply Involved’ EP. As well as releasing on a host of successful labels, Emmanuel runs and releases on his own label ARTS which has seen several strong releases this year with more from him to come in the next few months.
July 2014 sees the release of his second EP on Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records with ‘Rust’. This second EP is a strong follow up to his first EP on the label, ‘Limits’ , which was played constantly in clubs by the likes of Rodhad, Answer Code Request, Norman Nodge and Ben Klock to name just a few. With the hard hitting title track, ‘Rust’ in stark contrast to ‘Detonation’ this is a venture into newer territory from Emmanuel.
Having played hard hitting sets in many of the top venues in 2014 including the legendary Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, he is now carving himself a corner of the scene that looks to flourish for many years to come. Enjoy this week’s Blank Code Podcast from Emmanuel.
