Our next podcast comes from DJ Hyperactive live at our recent Blank Code Series event SCENE 16.  He is a Chicago Southsider who jumped on the decks in the 1980s, whom like many quickly entered the production arena.  Hyperactive has pushed an evolving sound across the borders of house and techno and has over 2 decades of smashing releases to his name on a host of influential labels such as 4 Track Recordings, Contact, Figure, Droid Records, Drop Bass, DJ SeriesCommunique Records, Missile, Gynoid AudioH-Productions, Plus 8 Records, and the list continues.

Current focus is set on remixes with recent re-workings for artists such as Truncate, and Mr. Jones already under his belt, and soon to be released remix for Luis Flores  on our Detroit based Blank Code imprint!  Hyperactive is also busy releasing current material on his 4TRK label, now based out of Chicago, with releases such as 11thV and Music Box.  Recently he has seen chart topping success of the famed Missile track “Wide Open” re-edited by Berghain resident Len Faki on Figure, and more currently he released his “25 Hours” EP on Los Angeles based Droid Recordings with remixes by Raiz and Markus Suckut!
